Daventry Town Council museum is a friendly and fascinating museum. Run by volunteers and housed within the Town Council offices, this is where people meet to share stories and learn about Daventrys rich history.
At the centre of the country, Daventry has a complex and unique history of people moving to and through the town. Our collection tells these stories and we collect more contemporary stories and material to bring history up to date and keep it relevant to Daventry now. As well as the permanent collection, the museum exhibits many interesting objects from Daventrys history donated or loaned by local people of the town. If you have an item or photograph that you feel may be of interest to the museum, please do not hesitate to contact us.
